Rent for hurricane season in Martinique

From June to November every alert brings the same list: a generator for the fridge and freezer, a chainsaw to clear the driveway, a pump to empty the garage, tarps, lamps, coolers. Buying a €3,000 generator for two power cuts a year is heavy. Renting it for three days is not.

In Martinique, equipped owners and pros offer this gear on Tout à Louer. Book ahead when a storm is announced, or right after for the clean-up: pressure washer, wet and dry vacuum, dehumidifier, trailer for green waste.
